Creating authentic voices are important in your writing.
Tania Roxborogh (Ngāti Porou) is an award-winning author of more than thirty published works. Her book, Charlie Tangaroa and the Creature from the Sea, was the 2021 Margaret Mahy Book of the Year. She is a high school teacher, writing mentor and te reo Māori Masters student.
This workshop, for rangatahi aged 11 to 14, will take young writers through the do's and don't’s of storytelling and why it is so important to get it right.
Attendees will consider other points of view, investigate their characters' stories, and work through a step-by-step guide to awesome, authentic writing.
