Join me, Elise De Silva, as we paint outdoors in the beautiful coastal area of East Auckland. I absolutely LOVE painting on location and I am thrilled to share this passion with you. The day begins early to take full advantage of the morning light.
I will begin the day sharing lots of tips and tricks to successful plein air painting. This will be followed by a watercolour painting demonstration. You'll then be free to paint your own piece and I will offer individual guidance as your painting develops.
Painting outdoors can be intimidating if you've never done it before, so this relaxed, informal group setting will give you safety in numbers! I have a fun, no stress approach. This workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate painters. I am a watercolour artist so this class is geared towards that medium. Class numbers will be limited to 10 students, and all COVID19 protocols will be observed.
Rain date: If the weather is inclement on 9th January we will postpone workshop to Sunday, 16th January 2022. Please keep both dates free.
Location: Cockle Bay Beach, Shelly Beach Pde, Cockle Bay (near Windross restaurant) Auckland. To be confirmed.
What to Bring: You will need to bring your own artists materials, drinks, snacks etc. A full list will be emailed to you after payment.
Refunds: No refunds will be given within 7 days of the workshop or anytime during the workshop. Full refunds will be given if the class is cancelled.
