Ahuriri Station is a 1,179ha property that was uplifted after the 1931 Napier earthquake. The Whakaharatanga walking trail around the hill is on the top end of the farm with significant Maori heritage. We have a challenging environment to farm in being a coastal Hawke's Bay property and have tailored our farming practices to these conditions. We run a mixed cropping, sheep and beef trading and finishing system. Our main focus on farm is producing 20000 prime lambs per year, 600 prime Angus R2 cattle, and mixed cropping for both stock and human consumption. Keeping our staff and visitors safe is of the utmost importance to us, while respecting our unique environment and running a profitable system. Our team of four people all live and work on farm and enjoy the challenges of working on this dynamic property.
