Picture this - The Inspiration Behind The Creation.
In this series, artists will share with us the film that has influenced or inspired their artistic practice, analytically reflecting on their work in correlation with their chosen film.
On November 5th, we will be joined by artist Nick Eggleston as he shares insights into his artistic practice, followed by a screening of his chosen film, 'An American Werewolf in London'.
"My choice of movie for this event is more a reflection of something I’ve been predominantly exploring in my art rather than it being a direct influence.
My fascination with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic images and ideas through history and folklore can be seen in the artworks I make.
The subject is mercurial. It moves around a bit and is hard to pin down definitively.
Which makes it all the more alluring the more I learn."
