Shannon Courtenay is a Cardrona-based ceramic artist making both functional and sculptural work. Graduating with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from Elam, Shannon set up her studio here in 2019. The studio is a short walk from the Cardrona River which is a central theme in Shannon’s sculptural work.

"She is a calm, easygoing teacher and I was immediately inspired by her unique ceramics and the peaceful studio space she has created... If you ever get the opportunity to undertake a ceramics workshop with Shannon, I highly recommend it! I hope Shannon’s space and work inspires you to pursue a creative venture that you have had brewing for a while." - Josie (Sunday Projects).
