Retro Pack Jazz on Broadway!

The Retro Pack is back! With their show “Jazz on Broadway” for one night only, following up their sold-out event at Circa Theatre in Wellington.

Their previous award-winning shows have delighted audiences at theatres and festivals around the country including ‘Blue Eyes’; a tribute to Frank Sinatra, ‘Unforgettable – Nat King Cole’ (Tauranga and Nelson Jazz Festivals), and ‘The Glory of Gershwin’ (Wellington Jazz Festival).

“Jazz on Broadway” pays tribute to the famed avenue which has been home to the most talented and sophisticated composers, many with jazz-oriented roots. Composers like the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin whose musical gems continue to uplift and entertain on stage and on record by music legends such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Michael Bublé, and Diana Krall.

Starring Andrew London (guitar/vocals), April Phillips (vocals), James Tait-Jamieson (sax/vocals), Lance Philip (drums), and Kirsten London (bass/vocals). The onstage dynamic and banter between the performers are completely infectious and will have you tapping your toes, laughing, and reminiscing.
