Sadie and Jay have been based in the Waikato since 2020 and began making their musical mark in festivals in Hamilton Auckland and Wellington in their initial years here. Together they write exquisitely crafted songs blending glorious harmonies backed by guitar, bouzouki and double bass. Their dynamic performances range through stories of spirited historical characters, lively rag time blues, comical ditties and epic tales and ballads. (Several of our Levin Folk Music Club members were treated to a house concert at Helen and Bob Harrison's home a couple of years ago and recall the beautiful music of this duo.)
The guest concert will be preceded by the usual blackboard. Following a brief interval the guest concert will begin at 9pm.
Please note vaccine passports must be presented to enter. Audience will be asked to respect social distancing and wear appropriate Covid masks. A reminder that the Scottish Society does not permit alcohol on its premises.
