Join us for the first international author event since before the pandemic! Come along and meet bestselling British actor and author, Sarah Winman.
Sarah's diverse career began by attending the Weber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She has then gone on to act in theatre, film and television while also writing. Her first novel 'When God was a Rabbit' is an international bestseller, her second 'A Year of Marvellous Ways' was a Sunday Times Bestseller and 'Tin Man' was shortlisted for the Costa Novel award 2018.
Sarah will be discussing her latest book, 'Still Life' which is about to be released in small format paperback.
'Still Life' has been a bookseller and reader favourite here at Hedley’s – the enchanting tale of an unlikely friendship between a British soldier and an alleged spy in a wartime Tuscany ripe with colour and the ghosts of the past. A story Sarah was inspired to write after seeing pictures on the walls of a Florentine neighbourhood restaurant showing the floods of 1966.
