Sense of Time is releasing their first single! Consisting of 3 songs, it will be available on all major digital platforms on the 3rd of September. To celebrate, a gig is being held on the release date at Te Whare o Rukutia, with the support of the Amped Music Project. The three songs featured in this release are: Uncut Hair, Monkey Man and the much-loved, Waterfall.

Supporting Sense of Time, Buddy will be opening, followed by The Allophones. Come along for a high-energy, loud night.

Sense of Time is a growing name in the Ōtepoti music scene. By fusing elements of alternative-rock, punk, indie, and grunge, Sense of Time creates an all new sound that has been missing in Aotearoa. Forming in 2021, Sense of Time has been gigging regularly and has a growing popularity among all ages of the Dunedin public.

The 4 piece consists of Caleb Tulloch on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Stefan Keller on Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, Jack Ingram on Bass, and Blake Hughes on Drums.

With the release of their first single they aim to spread their reach further across the country and gain some attention on a national level.

Sense of Time have just been selected as one of the top 20 bands in the National Semi-finals for Smokefree Rock Quest 2022.

The Allophones are dynamic three-piece alt-rock-folk-shoegazing-band. Tane Cotton supports the dual songwriting guitarist brothers Ben and Barney Conolly with explosive drums. The band would like you to know that they’re tapped in the eyeball of public perception, and you’re stuck in a cycle.

Buddy is a 3 piece band, formed in march this year that consists of niece, Emi Sharma, uncle Aaron Sharma and drummer Ants Anema. Their sound is very much a devotion of ever-evolving, lo-fi, country, folk-rock and noise, Buddy are an emerging new band and one to watch out for.
