To turn your ideas into a story, all you need to bring is a pencil or pen, and a notebook. It couldn't be easier. So, what do you say... are you keen to give your inner writer a chance to grow?

Hi, my name is Beatriz and writing is one of my hobbies. I took a short story course a couple of years ago and I loved it! I learned so much, not only from my teacher, but from my classmates as well. And it also gave me the opportunity to discover my own style, which was awesome. Finding a quiet place to escape from the day-to-day routine and write whatever comes to mind is one of my favourite things to do. I never know where my characters will take me. Still, though I'm no expert, I do love the challenge of writing, and I've found sharing my stories with others always helps me get a bit better. That's why I've decided to offer this workshop. For the enjoyment of creating and sharing a passion for writing.

This is a FREE activity and is part of the Porirua August Gogo Festival. See the Gogo Festival website. A festival to celebrate giving local experiences a go!
