THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TILL 28 JAN 2023.

The Ashhurst and Pohangina Lions, with the support of our local sponsors, Bill Milham and Yvonne Forlong of Property Brokers, Barny Askin of Totally Vets and Icona IT specialists, are holding their annual Smallholders’ Auction on 29th January, 2022. The event will be held at the same venue as last year, the MacDonald farm, 685 Pohangina Road, Ashhurst. We’ll be auctioning sheep, small animals and birds, household chattels and used farming equipment. This is a great opportunity for life-stylers and farmers to buy and sell livestock and unwanted items… just about anything you can think of. Remember, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure!

Drop off of chattels is from 1 pm. till 7 pm on Friday, and 6.30- 9 30 auction day. Livestock from 6.30 am till 9.30 am on Saturday.

The auction starts at 10 am Saturday.

Food and drink stalls, arts and crafts, rides and a bouncy castle for the children make this a great family day out.

All proceeds raised will benefit future community projects and everyone attending can support their local community, either by buying or selling.

We would like to give a huge thanks to all our sponsors and local clubs for their support in making this auction possible. Looking forward to seeing you all on the day!

There is a “no dogs” policy at this event, so please leave your dogs at home.

Entry is by gold coin donation. Proceeds to local clubs.

For more information regarding our auction or to become a stallholder please contact our coordinator Ron Farrugia at smallholders@aplionsclub.org.nz or 0273262380.
