Speech & Drama Classes (Ages 8-12)

These classes, run by SHINE School of Confidence, inspire confidence and imagination in kids, helping them to communicate effectively and build self-belief that helps them succeed in life...

Students learn to speak more confidently, communicate more effectively, improve their listening skills and use their imaginations. These skills and the confidence they give build their self-belief.

The course includes:

Public Speaking
Acting Skills
Effective Communication & Manners
Body Language
Vocal Skills
Poetry Reading & Storytelling
Your child will receive specialised tuition in a small group. Group lessons are 45 minutes of intensive, focused activities and are weekly for eight lessons of the school term.

Examinations:

Students are offered professional qualifications through SpeechNZ or Trinity College of London. Shine tutored students typically do extremely well in both sets of examinations. Examinations are not compulsory.

Shine School of Confidence inspires confidence and imagination in kids, helping them to communicate effectively and build self-belief, while having fun of course! Shine was founded by Nina Burchett, who has acted in film, theatre and television in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and USA.
