Stroke awareness

To acknowledge World Stroke Day, we have invited Nicola Hosking from Stroke Central to speak.
Nicola will teach you how to recognise the signs of a stroke, discuss ways to reduce the risk of having one, and explain how Stroke Central can support you and your whānau.
We will also hear from people who have experienced strokes and what they have done to overcome barriers.
Lastly, Kate, our resident Occupational Therapist, will demonstrate some equipment that can help you live as independently as possible.

Registration is essential so we can manage the numbers of attendees.
