Experience the beautiful trails of Pōneke with our free guided walks.
We've teamed up with Nuku Ora Green Prescription, Te Papa Tongarewa, Predator Free Te Motu-Kairangi and Friends of Tawa Bush Reserve, to connect people with their local trails and experience the great outdoors. There are a number of walks on at the same time for you to choose from.
For this guided walk, the meeting point is Churchill Park, Marine Parade, Seatoun. At the meeting point, look out for the Wellington City Council flag and our friendly guides wearing purple vests. Please meet ten minutes before the walks start time.
If you are using public transports, the closest bus stop is on Dundas Street in Seatoun. Catch the bus to Dundas Street and walk towards Hector St. Once you reach Hector Street, walk towards the ocean and look out for the Wellington City Council flag.
