The annual Takapuna Easter Holiday Hunt is back for 2022!
It may look a little different again this year, but you can still have lots of FREE fun and exploration around Takapuna this Easter – and over the school holidays!
From Saturday April 9th, bring the kids and family into Takapuna to take part in the free Easter Holiday Hunt. Grab a map for the kids from Shore City (or the latest Channel Magazine, Rangitoto Observer or Devonport Flagstaff!), follow the map around Takapuna completing the activities at each location. Receive your stamp, sticker, or write your answer on your map, then take the completed map back to Shore City to claim a sweet Easter treat!
The trail will run for the entire school holidays (last day: Sunday 1st May), and will be active between the hours of 10am to 4pm. You do not have to complete the map in one go – you are able to finish the map at any point between April 9 and May 1. Please be aware that the businesses involved may have slightly different opening hours, so either come back and visit again, or check their windows for an alternative option.
The entire trail should take approximately an hour to complete – depending on little legs in tow, or the amount of pit stops and detours along the way!
Parental help for the younger adventurers is absolutely accepted, and one treat will be given to each child with a completed map.
There is NO COST to take part in this event, however, a parent, guardian, caregiver or adult will be required to register when picking up a map from Shore City.
