Lock in a long weekend 12th - 14th August 2022, This is a fantastic opportunity to take your artistic abilities to the next level under the expert guidance of practicing artist and master weaver Marilyn Rea-Menzies. Marilyn has designed this three-day workshop, especially for you to gain a rich experience and a deeper understanding of how to approach your own ideas and creativity. By exploring and developing dynamic designs suitable for interpreting into textile art, or woven tapestries, you will take away the skills and ideas that will inspire many future projects. The theme for this workshop will be flowers, plants or aspects of the New Zealand native bush.
There will be time to warp up the frame looms and commence weaving your unique design, these can be taken away with you to complete in your own time. This workshop is open to all levels including beginners.
