For Halloween 2022, we’re bringing George Romero’s classic “Night of the Living Dead” back to the big screen!

Released only in a few grindhouse cinemas in 1968, the film was dismissed by most critics as low budget, indie schlock by some no-name filmmakers in Pittsburg. But like the walking dead, Romero’s little indie film kept going and going, unrelenting across 2yrs until finally the narrative around the picture changed. By 1970, “Night of the Living Dead” was considered an arthouse masterpiece and was placed in the permanent collection in NY’s Museum of Modern Art.
