Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, East Auckland. Most courses are delivered onsite at Selwyn College but a small number are delivered either via zoom or at another location. Details below.

Te Reo Maaori Introduction 1 courses start at the following dates, times, venues and methods:

- Mondays 7 - 9 pm classes face-to-face at Selwyn College starting 2 May
- Tuesdays 5 - 7 pm classes face-to-face at Selwyn College starting 3 May
- Tuesdays 7 - 9 pm classes face-to-face at Selwyn College starting 3 May
- Thursdays 10 am - 12 pm classes face-to-face at St Chads Church Hall Meadowbank starting 5 May
- Thursdays 6 - 8 pm classes via zoom starting 5 May

All courses run over eight weekly classes.

Please note this course fee is subsidised by the NZ Government via the Tertiary Education Commission for NZ Citizens and permanent migrants (and their partners, in some cases) more than 16 years and not currently enrolled in a NZ secondary school. It is a condition of accepting this course fee subsidy that you will attend at least 80% (7 of 8) classes so please only enrol at a time when you know you can attend all or most classes.

Want to speak te reo Māori? This course provides an introduction to the Māori language with an emphasis on pronunciation, greetings and forms of language in particular cultural contexts.

Introduction Level 2 and Introduction Level 3 courses are also available.
