Tegan Meets World

Tegan always looked forward to a new adventure. And before Tegan passed, she was planning on having an art exhibition of her own to express her creative practice to the Hamilton community.
She used to make incredible paintings and sketches, then, as a koha of love, would give them out to whanau and friends. Tegan’s artworks alway held an important meaning and were significant to every individual receiving them.

In honour of Tegan, whanau and close friends have organised a week-long exhibition of her artwork at the Meteor Theatre in Hamilton. This is a chance for the people who knew her and the wider community to enjoy and celebrate Tegan’s creativity in an art gallery space.

The exhibition name is inspired by her YouTube Channel 'Tegan Meets World', which is still active today with a wealth of video content Tegan created over a period of years.

The exhibition will run from 24 - 29 May 2022. Nau mai, haere mai. Everyone is welcome.
