Terror-Fi

Terror-Fi 2022 is here! Enjoy this year’s best genre films at The Capitol – 12 New Zealand Premieres with 2 Retro Classics thrown in for good measure.

We have blockbuster NZ Premiere screenings of huge horror hits Barbarian and Bodies Bodies Bodies as our Opening and Closing Night films. Headline titles also include the truly stunning sci-fi fairytale Vesper, the vertigo-inducing thriller Fall, gripping Korean action thrillers Project Wolf Hunting, Hunt, and Something In the Dirt the mind-bending new film from Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead ('The Endless', 'Synchronic', TVs 'Moon Knight' and 'Loki')

It wouldn’t be Terror-Fi without some amazing indie gems to discover, and this year we have some true finds. Gangster revenge film Bull will blow you away with a stunning lead performance from Neil Maskell, psychological thriller The Novice will stay with you long after you leave the cinema, a Life On The Farm is quite possibly the quirkiest and most heart-warming film we’ve ever played, the demonic telenovela Everyone Will Burn will have you wondering why we don’t make more films like this, and The Civil Dead will have you laughing all the way home.

Our Dress-Up/Costume Party screening is the hilarious zombie classic The Return of The LivinG Dead. We’re also bringing back the wildly entertaining, genre-bending hit The Cabin In the Woods – we can’t wait to see that one the big screen again!

For films, trailers, tickets go to: www.terrorfifest.com or www.thecapitol.co.nz

You can also buy a Fan Badge and watch all 14 films, at a fraction of the price - just $12 each.
