The $3 Book Fair at Maramarua

The $3 Book Fair at Maramarua features around 300 boxes of secondhand books, both fiction and non-fiction. Most books are $3 however we do have a purple table which is more expensive. We also have large print, romance, westerns and science fiction. Both fiction and non-fiction boxes are all sorted and labelled.

Small paperbacks are $1 and 10 for $5. We have lots of DVDs at $2.

This fair’s major specials are CDs at 10 for $1 and cooking books at $1 each – we have just received a large supply of both.

There is also a range of both fiction and non-fiction for children at 2 books for $1.

Sorry, no EFTPOS. We take cash or payment via your mobile phone banking app.

Maramarua is located on SH2 approx 22km from the SH1 turnoff north of Pokeno or if you come up SH27 from Matamata and Tatuanui, then follow up to SH2 and head west.
