Put your hands together for the Auckland comedy roast battle!
The Auckland Roast Battle will see eight of Auckland's top comedians competing for the title of Roast King or Queen and a $100 cash prize.
Nothing is off-limits. We will see friends versus friends, polite acquaintance versus polite acquaintance and most importantly, comics versus comics.
Contestants will progress through the rounds according to how the panel of three judges consisting of Brendan Lovegrove, Liv McKenzie and Danny Sewell, stack them up against the categories of originality, brutality, and hilarity. The judges come from a range of backgrounds including divorced and loving families.
The night will be fun, it will be brutal, and it will be toasty.
A vaccination passport will be required.
