The Blabla Book Swap

Welcome to Bla Bla Book Swap.

We are hoping to make this a monthly gathering, with the first event starting on Wednesday July 13th at The Pizza Library Bar in Mount Maunganui.

The event will be for 1.5 hours and will be hosted by the very lovely, very special, very incredible Malika Ganley.

Just before you grab your big sack and fill it with books, here is how it will work :

*You bring between 1-3 books to swap, and I said 3, not 300 - I’m looking at you over there, yeah you.

We don’t want to see the titles, so if you can wrap your book before attending the event that would be great, but if you forget then we will have some wrapping paper for you when you arrive.

We will send our ticket holders 3 Questions about your feelings for the wrapped book/books you're bringing a week before the event, and you answer these by writing it on the wrapping paper or sticking onto it, along with a short blurb of what the book is about, so each swap will be decided based on how the book has made someone feel, instead of judging a book by its cover.
