The Christmas Garden City Mākete

The Garden City Mākete is coming back to Ōtautahi to get the festive season started with a bang!
Organise your Christmas present shopping by supporting over 40 small businesses all from one beautiful location: The Christchurch Cardboard Transitional Cathedral.

Offering food, ethical or second-hand fashion, jewellery, art, homewares, pottery, plants, and so much more! GCM aims to bring vibrancy, diversity, fun, and a sense of community into the central city during the amazing summer festive season. This event is for anyone and everyone- the more the merrier! Make a night or a day of it by popping down to listen to the live music or have a family day/night out with face painting for the kids!

Parking available on surrounding streets and close-by Wilson carparks – we encourage you to bike, walk, or bus into the city where possible!
