The Free Store Festival

The Free Store Fest is back at Southern Cross! Come along and support The Free Store community at our annual fundraiser! ✨
We'll be putting on an extravaganza of treats for you to come and enjoy. We’ll have the usual favorites: the annual charity brew from Garage Project, a diverse and playful line up of five epic bands, our iconic pub quiz, and raffles and prizes from our wonderful and generous sponsors.
And this year, our market is back for you to enjoy! With Christmas fast approaching, you’ll be able to stock up on handmade, amazing gifts (#supportlocal), all whilst supporting The Free Store. And keep your eyes peeled for more exciting surprises!
All proceeds from the festival go towards The Free Store - the shipping container on Willis Street that redistributes $4.6 million worth of quality surplus food from 60 inner-city eateries to those in need each year.
