The Jews Brothers Band

Enjoy an evening at The Arts Junction, Katikati's entertainment hub.

The line-up includes two Jewish New Yorkers, a Jewish Kiwi and two other Kiwis who are Jewish by osmosis. They have played the world over, from the Faroe Islands to southern Spain to Chicago to London, have featured at the ‘mother’ WOMAD in Reading and at the famed North Sea Jazz Festival. And they've twice been a stand-out at the ‘National’ in Canberra.

The Katikati gig will feature Hershal Herscher on accordion, Linn Lorkin on lead vocals and melodica, Nigel Gavin on guitar, Aaron Coddel on upright bass and John Ellis on percussion and saxophones..

Expect multi-instrumental harmonies, jazz improv, three-, four- and five-part vocals, theatrical ‘schtick’ … and plenty of fireworks!
