The Later Cantatas of Baroque Composer Christoph Graupner

This is the last in a series of three concerts which looks at the solo soprano cantatas of Baroque composer Christoph Graupner.

Waikato University DMA candidate Amy Thomas (soprano) will present the last three solo soprano cantatas Graupner ever wrote.

Graupner was a prolific late Baroque composer, whose long career in service of the Count of Hesse-Darmstadt, gave him ample opportunity to develop his compositional style.

This concert features local Trumpet player Bill Stoneham and members of local chamber group Vox Baroque (directed by Rachael Griffiths-Hughes).
