The New Variants!

The 'New Variants!' comprise of long-time 'Taihape Musicians Club' members Fred Hammer, Richard Aslett and Cyn Hammer, now joined by 'Rangatua Rocker' Mike Bly!. The 'New Variants!' band name arrived following a huge internet search for a new moniker not already taken and replaces their previous name of 'Fredwood Max'

Going into this, their third concert, the 'New Variants!' repertoire has extended massively following their recent second gig for a private party, where the order of the day was for old school 'Rock & Roll' hits! Many of these highly danceable classics have been joyfully added to their eclectic set list hits from the 50's right up to tantalizing tasty tunes of today!
