The Waiheke Cabaret

Watch out Waiheke it’s cabaret time again! Following the success of our last cabaret, we bring you another two nights of decadent delight and variety with live music, drag, burlesque, aerial displays and after show DJ. Hosted by the fabulous drag king Hugo Grrrl and featuring performances from The Madeleines, Constance Maraj, Bianca Du Bont and our very own theatre co-ordinator Katherine Kearsley, we will transport you back to the 1950’s – the golden era of cabaret.

Both nights will feature the same performers so choose one or choose both. We’ll have prizes for the best dressed so get your 1950’s glam on and dress to impress. If you're stuck for what to wear, then our Otherworlds Costume Shop in Blackpool has lots to choose from.

The evening is a fundraiser for Artworks Theatre Seating Fund. The proceeds will go towards building additional seating upstairs to increase the theatre’s capacity. All profits from the tickets sales and bar will go towards this. There will also be a live auction of amazing goodies kindly donated from local Waiheke businesses each night. Keep an eye on social media for all the fabulous things we’ll have to auction.

General Admission tickets will be $40 per person. We will also have a very limited number of VIP tickets for each night. The VIP experience is $150 per person or $250 per couple and includes VIP table seating, champagne, food platter, a signed cabaret poster and the opportunity to support your local theatre!
