Put your hands together for the Wellington comedy roast battle!
The Wellington Roast Battle will see eight of Wellington's top comedians competing for the title of Roast King or Queen and a $100 cash prize.
Nothing is off-limits. We will see friends versus friends, polite acquaintance versus polite acquaintance and most importantly, comics versus comics.
Contestants will progress through the rounds according to how the panel of three judges stacks them up against the categories of originality, brutality, and hilarity. The judges come from a range of backgrounds including divorced and loving families.
The night will be fun, it will be brutal, and it will be toasty.
A vaccination passport will be required.
