See the highlights of the year – from asteroid collisions to the best astrophotography in a 50 minute show celebrating the most exciting astronomical events of 2022.
Stardome has created a unique end of year show that looks back at the biggest space events of 2022. From the launch and first images of the James Webb Space Telescope, to humanity’s first attempt in ‘planetary defence’ to redirect an asteroid – it’s safe to say it’s been a memorable year in space!
Our expert presenter will review all the exciting space-events of the year using our immersive indoor dome planetarium. This show also features some of the beautiful images from this year’s New Zealand Astrophotographer of the Year Awards, for a unique perspective of the cosmos from our place in Aotearoa.
