This month we have Professor Jim Cotter from the / School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Sciences here to talk to us about exercise in extreme environments!

Humans live, work, explore and compete in an enormous range of extreme environments. However, a harmless or even favourable environment for one person can be lethal for another. Come and explore with us the polar opposites of what constitutes extreme, why tolerance is so variable, and what adaptations are possible and/or desirable.

In person at Ombrellos Kitchen and Bar - please call or email to make a reservation 03-477 8773 or bookings@ombrellos.co.nz.

Online via Zoom - register at https://bit.ly/3NSofNN.
