THS Talk: Hands on Tauranga

Join us on Sunday 3rd April at 2pm at the hall behind Brain Watkins house to hear from Megan Hoskin, the new Heritage Collection Programme Specialist for the ‘Hands on Tauranga’ service to schools. Hands on Tauranga was developed by Fiona Kean and provides museum objects to teachers wanting to share hands on history with their classes. Megan will talk about how the service is run, and will bring some of the fascinating objects from the collection to share with us.

Tauranga Historical Society (THS) Talks are open to all. The $2 door charge includes afternoon tea and a chance to network with others that share your passion for history.
