Andrew started his stand-up comedy journey on the 7th of February 1990 at the iconic Sydney Comedy Store. After 4 and a half years of learning his craft in the sometimes, testing environment of the Sydney comedy scene Andrew had a yearning to return home to his native New Zealand. Well when I say yearning, he got offered a job on the breakfast show of Radio Hauraki – nice.
This return coincided with the embryonic local comedy scene picking up momentum and over the coming years Andrew was at the forefront of it’s rise in quality and credibility. In the 25 years since, he’s performed around the world, from famous venues to combat zones; From hospital wards to comedy festivals.
He’s hosted TV shows, acted in TV dramas and written plays. There’s not a lot he hasn’t done.
He’s versatile, professional but most importantly, he’s funny.
