Surfskates are an amazing tool for surf training out of the water. Learn basic skills on how to ride a surfskate, then progress later on to turns, pumping and generating speed, into full cutbacks and powerful re-entries. Come and check out our Ultimate SurfSkate Beginner Sessions every Monday from 6-7 PM, at the shop.

Learn how to surfskate in a safe environment in our large carpark with us, with a huge focus on how to cross-translate these skills to real water surfing.

With our Ultimate SurfSkate Beginner Sessions we want to help to build your confidence when on the board. We will get you learning the basic handling skills on being on the board (kick, push, coast). We will teach you to look at where you’re wanting to go, rather than down on the ground. And we teach you how to do gentle sweeping turns (backside and frontside) with PROPER technique (focus on backfoot and weight shift).

Our Ultimate SurfSkate Beginner Sessions are suitable for everyone who:
Never skated before / never been on a surf skate
Have skated before but think they are ‘horrible’ at everything
Have skated before but no confidence

Classes are limited to 8 people to make sure you are well taken care of by our crew. Bookings are essential so please contact us to book in.
We have a few SLIDE Surfskates available if you don't have your own board.

We run our Ultimate SurfSkate Beginner Sessions every Monday from 6-7 PM, starting 5th of September 2022. Bookings are essential so please order online or contact us to book in.
