Following a successful concert celebrating the music women artists of the 50’s at the Globe Theatre in May 2021, local musicians, Erna Ferry and Vicki Lee return to the stage, this time adding the magical 60’s to the mix and those fabulous women who shaped that decade.
Although Erna and Vicki were just kids during the 50’s, they both grew up with the songs that are synonymous of those years.
The late 60’s however were very much their teenage years - and therefore the music for them is from a special place in their souls.
Obviously, they will need to return to address the 70’s, but that’s another concert right?!
So get your 50’s & 60’s hats on, and come and join us for a memorable and nostalgic party !
The concert will be held at the Hokowhitu bowling club Albert Street Palmerston North on 19 November at 7:30 pm.”
