Sweet Axe Throwing Co. presents the second annual Vikween Cup: an Axe Throwing Tournament for women, gender minorities and qweens of all colours.
We are hosting another double-elimination style tournament for all Qweens. We recognise that axe throwing as a sport may appear predominantly male. However, the perception of axe throwing as a sport that only men can excel in is something Sweet Axe and our community is actively working to overcome. Tournaments such as Vikween are building blocks for equal representation.
This tournament is by no means a “pros only” event; we invite anyone who has thrown with us before to come down and get in on the action.
We're releasing a limited amount of tickets for those who haven't thrown before via Eventfinda only. The first 30 minutes of the event will be used for induction/training; this includes safety briefing, throwing demonstrations and one-on-one training. Then it's straight into the tournament!
Tournament: Sunday, March 13th
Practice lanes: 12:00-2:30pm
Games begin: 2:30PM
