Classical music lovers are in for a treat with the Wanaka Concert Society’s first concert of 2022. Two of New Zealand's top instrumentalists, violinist Yuka Eguchi and Kent English, will perform highlights from the violin and piano duo repertoire, designed to thrill, chill and charm.
Virtuoso violinist Yuka has been Assistant Concertmaster of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 2015 and has been a prize winner in a number of leading international violin competitions including the prestigious Paganini Competition.
Kemp has an extensive discography with critically acclaimed recordings released under the Decca, Naxos and Ode labels. Renowned as a specialist fortepiano exponent and organist, Kemp is a regular soloist throughout New Zealand.
