This is the second of two workshops. (FREE to attend)
This workshop focuses on avenues to develop visual, social media promotion and merchandising for your studio, gallery, or event.
Simon will guide you through a ‘how to’ step-by-step guide on utilising social media platforms effectively
• Making a Facebook or Instagram account (positives and negatives of each)
• How to navigate the benefits of Facebook and Instagram to promote your work, group and event.
• How to develop a website to benefit your group / or personal arts
• Suggest some websites that support new customers (eg: Squarespace is very good for new artists to develop the site)
Simon you can have a couple of hours to present if you like.
Lynn will give you insight and contacts/resources for effective merchandising products to best showcase your event, studio, gallery, or personal portfolio. Insights into researching your target market making your promotional efforts count and finding your place in that audience.
A guest speaker will discuss what they do in the print shop I-Q that supports merchandise and resources that may be of value to your exhibition, promotion, or portfolio.
Outcomes:
Understanding effective visual and social media – what works best and both effective / cost-effective.
Contacts and resources to develop your promotional goals.
Understanding of your ‘target market’ Any questions you may have discussed and answered
