Update as at 28 October: Unfortunately, the Wellington Male Voice Choir has to postpone this concert from its original date of Sunday 30 October to this new date of Sunday 27 November. This is due to illnesses leading to absences within the performing choirs that would have meant we could not have delivered our best for our audience. The time, venue and programme remain the same. All tickets already sold for this concert remain valid. Anybody who has already purchased a ticket and cannot attend on the new date will be refunded; please let us know if this is the case. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you on 27 November.
"Songs of the Soul" is the final concert in 2022 for the Wellington Male Voice Choir. This programme delves into some of the various things that nurture our souls: the connection with spirituality, love of country, being in nature, and interaction with various aspects of culture. We will also feature two other choirs in this concert: Kōkako from Wellington Young Voices and Voces Luce from Queen Margaret College. This fantastic programme will conclude with a rousing rendition of "Down by the Riverside" which features all three choirs and audience participation.
