Whānau Planting Day

Come and join a family friendly planting day in your community and turn this neighbourhood park into a place where wildlife and people love to visit!

West Broken Run Reserve is a relatively new park in Wigram. It has the upper limits of the Ōpawaho Heathcote River running through its heart and planting it up will help keep the waterway healthy.

Please bring your own gardening gloves (and spade if you have one). Some tools will be provided. Please also bring a drink bottle, weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes or gumboots.
