This exhibition is a celebration of my two wildly different worlds. Wild stags, raccoons, squirrels and the occasional black bear live in our woods and wander our property. Fish, turtles, beavers and ducks inhabit the spring-fed lakes minutes from our home. Woodpeckers and hummingbirds abound. Wild geese lift the spirits by heralding the arrival of spring as the snow and ice slowly melt. When I am in New Zealand Cas' beautiful photos and stories continue to inspire my paintings and keep me connected to life in my other world. Helen Russell
