After an array of sell out events in the North Island, Women in Top is hitting the one and only Queenstown for a very special collab with Cur8 Events at Yonder on Friday 11th November!
This event is specially curated to bring people from all walks of life together for a night of stories about careers, survival, success and songs by special guest speakers and performers.
Our Kaupapa being that Women share stories of survival, success, challenges, heart break, recovery, business, motherhood, choosing to not be a mother, art, food, music, love, self worth, self love, change, and whatever else they feel fits - but it’s real. That’s what we support.
Doors will open at 6pm for everyone to come along for a glass and mingle and the event will start at 7pm.
* Note, this is a super casual and fun event, safe space and we ask to bring no judgment and lots of good vibes.*
Our forever host Rachel Taane will be flying to QT to make the magic happen! Rach is a registered social worker and all round incredible wāhine and we’re very chuffed to have her back on stage hosting our line-up. Rachel will be performing a mid-event Education session on how friends and whānau can support someone who is suffering physical, emotional or mental harm.
*Which charity are we auctioning / raffling for?
We will be holding a raffle and auction for Central Lakes Family Services. The CLFS was brought to life in 2018 with a merger of Queenstown Lakes Family Centre and Jigsaw Central Lakes.
They are a locally based NGO that provides a range of social services to support families and individuals, supports and Ministry of Justice approved programmes.
