Enabling Love & Friendship New Zealand, which is part of Enabling NZ, would like to
invite you to Dunedin to participate at our workshop on Tuesday the 11th of October at
1.30pm to 3.30pm. It will be at the Dunedin Community House, Alexander McMillan
Room and is $20 per ticket. The theme of our workshop is the future of the disability
sector in Otago and how we can combat social isolation.
Enabling Love & Friendship is a non-profit organisation based in Dunedin that aims to
provide a safe environment for individuals to meet new friends and form new
connections and relationships. We work with people aged 18 to 65 years old with a
range of disabilities.
We would like to provide the opportunity for each disability provider to speak for up to
five minutes about their issues that they are currently facing with the changes within the
Disability Sector. You are welcome to use a PowerPoint. At this workshop we wish to
brainstorm and discuss the best steps forward and where the disability sector will be in
the next 5-10 years.
Please RSVP by the 27th of September.
Catering will be provided, please notify of any
dietary requirements.
