Nau mai haere mai to a family friendly all ages evening of kai and connection to celebrate Matariki!
What to expect:
We hope you're hungry because there's a hāngī! Don't be afraid to pitch in to help - grab a shovel or set the table. He waka eke noa!
After kai, join DOC rangers on a walk through the forest and Punanga Manu o Te Anau/ Te Anau Bird Sanctuary. What can you hear? What can you smell? Sharpen your senses and discover the forest at night! To finish, gather round for a special Matariki story time with hot drinks and biscuits.
