A Winetopia Christmas with Marlborough’s No. 1 Family Estate & Greywacke, UnserHaus

Winetopia Club welcomes you to join our friends from No. 1 Family Estate and Greywacke - two incredible Marlborough wineries - to raise a glass to celebrate the year that was and upcoming silly season.

At this event we take an exploratory approach, getting to grips with both the region, wines and different winemaking methods. The event will be led by representatives from both wineries (No. 1’s Virgine Le Brun and Greywacke’s Alex Judd), and you can expect to taste some amazing Methodé Traditionelle bubbles and some of crisp stills from Marlborough’s sunny South Pacific climate.

A trip to UnserHaus wouldn’t be complete without a little magic from the Gaggenau kitchen. Acclaimed chef Tim Read shot to fame winning 2015 NZ Masterchef before travelling to Scandinavia where he worked in some of the best kitchens in Europe, learning their ground-breaking techniques and cooking philosophies. This included time in the triple Michelin-starred Maaemo restaurant. Tim’s food never disappoints and for this special event he will be preparing some truly exceptional dishes to match with our wines. If you joined us at the last event, you’ll know exactly what you’re in for!
