Bad Gin Sanctuary

From Ōtautahi Bad Gin Sanctuary presents
Adam Hatatway & The Haunters with Kendall Elise at the Kauaeranga Valley Hall.

Initiating a new generation into the temple of alt-rock’n’roll. As a seasoned touring band with five studio albums, A.H. explore personal themes while weaving in universal motifs - star crossed lovers, losers, and lonesome travellers. Forever shaking hands with heartache, Adam Hattaway lives close to the bone. From his home in Ōtautahi, he has earned an international reputation for sweltering hooks, high-kicks, and raw, emotional narrative. A born frontman, he deftly marries 60's swagger with 21st century sensitivity.

''Out of Christchurch, the band have constantly expanded the genres they command, from alt.country and blues to falsetto dance-floor pop. Accomplished, road tested and exceptionally prolific.'' - Graham Reid, Elsewhere.

With support from Thames local, Kendall Elise.
Born on the wrong side of the tracks in a town called Papakura – Songwriter, Producer, Musician and Self Managed Artist Kendall Elise rips her heart from her sleeve and stitches it throughout her songs.
Roaming the range from soul stirring country-gothic ballads to full blown barnstormers, her dynamic live performances have silenced audiences, brought them to tears, made them laugh and brought them to their feet. Her style harkens back to the golden decades of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s - eras that you can also hear woven through her songs.
