Women of Influence is a political After 5 networking function with three of our most influential leaders who have and are shaping our economic policy. They know that wealth and wellbeing should be more equally and equitably shared across economies and communities. And that it needs boards and executives to be changing strategies and policies. This panel will be asked questions on our global economy, cost of living, health, education and the future of women in political leadership.

Speakers:
Dame Jenny Shipley is the first female Prime Minister of New Zealand and served in office from 1997 to 1999. She chairs Global Women NZ, is Patron of the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre, and chaired the national coordinating committee for Tuia: First Encounters 250 commemorations in 2019.

Nicola Willis is a List MP based in Wellington, having entered Parliament in April 2018. She is National’s Deputy Leader, spokesperson for Finance and Social Investment, and National’s candidate for the Ōhāriu electorate in the upcoming general election.

Traci Houpapa. is an award-winning company director and a recognised industry leader. She is also a trusted advisor to Maori and Government on strategic and economic development and has been named as one of the top ten most influential women in New Zealand.
