Al Basti Equiworld NZ Oaks Day

New Zealand oaks to be a grand occasion

One of only three racedays anywhere in the country that features two Group One races, the Al Basti Equiworld New Zealand Oaks Day is set to ignite at race Trentham on Saturday March 18. Also featuring the Group One Gee & Hickton Levin Classic and three other group and listed races, tickets are now on sale for the restaurant and hospitality spaces in the venue.

General Admission is free on the day, with one of Trentham’s famous Twilight Markets in the forecourt that will see a host of food trucks and market stalls to browse through. There will also be a special screening of the Michelle Payne movie “Ride Like a Girl” on the big screen at the conclusion of racing.

The nine race card also includes the Group 3 Cuddle Stakes, the Listed New Zealand St Leger, and the Listed Lightning Handicap.
