Calling all wine-lovers with a taste for adventure! We’re thrilled to invite you and your friends to an unforgettable day in the heart of North Canterbury.
On arrival at Glenmark Station (Waipara) enjoy a glass of Rose before settling in the vintage locomotive, to journey through the unique limestone beauty of the Weka Pass to Waikari Station. Once there, enjoy our introductory appetisers, complementing a glass of wine of your choice from our Georges Road Range. Afterwards, we will return to Glenmark station for a full lunch feast of mouthwatering canapés.
Gather your friends, and join us for a day filled with laughter, great wine, and unforgettable moments.
Need to know:
The day begins at 11amat the Glenmark Railway Station (Waipara), train departs at 1130 amand event is finished by 2.30.
We can organise travel by bus from Christchurch upon request for an additional charge. Please select this as your preferred option when purchasing your ticket.
Includes 2 glasses of Georges Road Wines, Return Train trip, full canape lunch, and a gifted Georges Road wine glass to take home.
All Georges Road Wines, including the new Rosé, will be available for purchase at the end of the journey at a 15% discount for all intrepid train travellers.
